Hilarious!

Can We Hang, Eletrocute and Shoot You Too?

Okay innocent until proven guilty, but I'm a bit bias when it comes to animal cruelty cases.   In the case of NFL quarterback MIchael Vick, I am sorely disappointed if these charges are proven beyond a doubt.    The quarterback has been indicted on a variety of dogfighting and animal cruelty charges.   Said dogfighting and torture of the pit bull dogs occured on Vick's property.   I'm sorry ... your house ... your responsibility.   I hope that if the evidence proves his guilt that he is thrown out of the NFL and do jail time, plus pay some hefty fines to various pit bull rescue groups, the humane societies, etc ...    

I just don't understand how people can treat other animals like the poor dogs who were killed and tortured allegedly by Vick and his associates.    Nike has decided to suspend the release of a shoe which I am glad that they did.   Animal cruely should not be tolerated.      

In all honesty with these animal cruelty cases I believe in eye for an eye.   Let's just hope that the next round of punishments are even more severe and come at a swift pace.    

Vindication

The bulls at least had a little vindication yesterday at the traditional bull run in Pamplona, Spain.

Yuck.   I don't think I'm going to sleep very well tonight.

A True Hero

This adorable terrier named George saved five children from two menacing pitbulls in New Zealand.  Unfortunately due to the severity of his wounds this little hero had to be put down.  I feel like shedding tears.     Read the story here.

Excuse Me I Just Coughed Up My Lung

I'm still recovering from a cold and I am now stuck in the coughing phase.  Oh how I loathe the coughing.  Sometimes I feel like I'm going to cough up a lung.    Have you heard about the teenager from Hawaii who got kicked off a Continental Airline flight back home?'     The 16 year old fell asleep while the plane was taking off.   When she awoke, she was coughing and gasping for air.   After awhile her coughing subsided.    But was later informed that the Captain decided that the teenager, along with one of the teachers were to be removed from the plane.    Continental Airlines stated that for the safety of the other passengers along with the fact that the flight was about 10 hours long, that the removal was necessary.   

We are flying soon and I'm hoping this coughing goes away.   I would hate to get thrown off the plane all because I'm hacking rib chunks.   Click here for the full story about the coughing fit and Continental Airlines.
