I would love to adorn my boring neck with this Recycled Wool and Leather Flower Lariat from Tizib. Check out Tizib's etsy shop to see more beautiful creations.

When I shop I keep the receipts just in case I need to return an item. Most places these days you need a receipt in order to get your money back. But there are places where a receipt is not necessary and it immediately becomes a piece of garbage in your bag, pocket, car ashtray, etc ... I say "no" to receipts when I go to my local fast food joint, gas stations, nail salon, atm machines, etc ... This reduces my amount of paper waste as well as asking these place of businesses to contribute to the growing amount of paper waste in this world. So next time you visit a place of business that you don't need the receipt, ask them to skip the printout.
Great green tip from 5 Minutes for Going Green.

I am such a huge fan of Melissa shoes. I currently only have a couple pairs of the Sin Sandal and they are so comfy. Each pair of Melissa shoes are made from technologically enhanced thermoplastic. That means eco-friendly and a comfortable fit. Visit the Melissa website to see their new collections.

Oh seeing this vintage Samsonite Train Case brings back memories. I remember when my parents had this and those other lovely luggage pieces with those metal locks. I always was afraid I'd pinch my fingers when closing them. Check out the etsy store of Get Ready Set Go for more terrific vintage finds.

I saw on the news this morning that the average price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline is $3.99 according to AAA (American Automobile Association). This is cheaper than a few days ago, but definitely not as low as it used to be. Therefore I am still looking for tips on how to conserve my fuel usage. Thanks to Green Living, they have a list of suggesions all of us can try to reduce our gas consumption. Click here for the list!

Still washing my clothes in cold water. Feel great about that. Plus my clothes still feel clean as it did when I used warm water. I wish I could use cold water with my children's clothes, but they are too dirty for cold water.

Now here's a super easy green tip for all of you coffee drinkers ... skip the stirrer! Put the lid back on after you add the cream and sugar, then shake a little. All done! Click here to the fab article from Planet Green.

I absolutely adore anything that is Shinzi Katoh. Shinzi Katoh is a multi-talented artist from Japan, whose artistic works are on housewares, stationary, bags, etc ... Joining the ranks of Sigg and Kleen Kanteen, is the Insulated Trekking Bottles from Shinzi Katoh. Aren't they just sweet? I think they're a bit more expensize than their couterparts, but with these designs I think I can look past the price. Look towards Penelope's online shop to pick up your adorable bottle and be a little green at the same time.
