Perfect Burgers

Next time I make burgers at home this Hamburger Press with Handle from Crate and Barrel would make the cooking easier.   This is a two piece press that makes crafting uniform burgers easy.    But do I really want perfect burgers?   I always thought the more irregular a burger looked chances are that they are truly homemade and delicious.
