Gambling Withdrawal

I have had a headache since returning from Lake Tahoe.    I think it's a gambling withdrawal symptom.    Lack of flashing lights, bells ringing and smoke filled air is making my head hurt.  Life is cruel.

Eviction

No cause for concern, the eviction's not for us, but rather for a woman that lives in a condo we purchased about five months ago.    The property was up for grabs at a foreclosure auction and we grabbed it, at a pretty decent price if I might add.   Then we hired a lawyer to handle the eviction process.    Now it's been a few months since we got the lawyer and by the way, they suck, but the woman is still living in the condo and we're still waiting for the eviction.   

I won't go into too many details but combine the lack of response from the present occupant plus the f*c% up's from the lawyer's office, that gives us a negative balance for us every week.    There is no money coming in and the occupant is living for free.    The occupant should send the lawyer's office a fruit basket for her extended free time there.   

Like I mentioned earlier, I won't delve into this situation too much as it pisses me off to high heaven and back.  But please for the love of Chrysler, let's get this woman out!

Sweat

I've worked out everyday this week.   I'm beat but I can't stop.   Of course I'm trying to lose weight but the weight's not coming off as fast as I would like.   I guess it doesn't help that I've been eating cookies and muffins at night.   Sooooo very bad for the "diet".

Not My Fault

Ugh, I am so perturbed with my insurance company.    I just found out that an accident I had a little less than a year ago was decided by an arbitration committee that I was at fault.   Such total bull.    I spoke with my adjustor and she told me what the other driver's story was.       I wanted to scream "He's a liar!" after she told me his version.    Based on what he said and a supposed witness who corroborated his story, and the evidence presented, the committee decided in his favor.   Bullsh1t!     There is no way I would have pulled forward onto the road.   I won't list specifics but if you knew the area and how traffic was that time of the day, no logical driver would reverse into a parking lot.    The most logical thing to do is to pull in, thus to get out you would have to reverse out.    The other driver is saying that I pulled forward, meaning that I reversed in to this parking area.    Again major bullsh1t!     The adjustor informed me that the decision was final.   

I just don't understand how a committee could come to a decision based on written statements and photos.    How could I defend my story without hearing the other party's version?     Bull crap.   Now my premiums might increase and maybe I'll lose my "good driver's discount".      All because the other driver lied and found someone else to agree with his false testimony.   

I've sent an email to my insurance agent asking if there was anything more I could do.   I won't hold my breath.   Geesh this was just total bullsh1t.    110% + the bull.

Scorching Heat

Holy smokies, it's been so hot here!   For the past few days the weather here has been over 90 degrees.  I personally hate this heat.   It's almost impossible to do anything outside without sweating your patootie off.   Today is our housing development's annual garage sale.   A number of people bring out their clutter to sell.   We decided to take the boys out for a stroll around the neighborhood and see if I could find those kids furniture sets I've been longing for, but no such luck.   We did get free hot dogs for the boys and they got to play in one of those rent-a-jumpy-house apparatus.    After 30 minutes of walking around it got to be too hot.     I was ready to go home.    It was only 11:00am but the weather was already heating up.   The forecast is calling for more of this heat through the weekend.     I hear it's supposed to cool down later in the week.  I'm crossing my fingers.   Give me 82 degrees and a slight breeze any day.   

Workout

I've decided to stop wasting our money by paying a gym membership and not actually using the gym.   I'm sure they have lots of people like me, just throwing our money away at the mere thought of actually getting fit.   But I didn't want to be like those people anymore.   I started thinking ... the boys are in school and I have a couple of hours of child-free time, so why the hell not?    So it's been a few weeks so far and I can say that the quest to be able to climb a few flights of stairs without hyperventilating is in progress.    

It's actually been better than I thought it would.   I have a few friends that go regularly so it's nice to see them.  I've been going to a wonderful spin class that kicks my butt everytime.  It's torture but I love it, in that weird way.    You know when you hurt just a little, it's that good kind of "hurt".       Though Ido find it strange that I actually shower more at the gym than I do at home.     It actually feels out of place to shower at home when I don't go to the gym.   I feel as if I'm forgetting something.     Like I forgot to bring my cleanser with me, or that I need to go to my locker to get my makeup.     When everything is already here in my bathroom.   

I hope this is not a phase and that I actually commit myself 100% to this "getting in shape" period.   My next step is to get a trainer.  I need someone to help me design a workout plan so I make the most of the time I spend at the gym.     I want a female trainer.  I couldn't possibly have a male trainer helping me to achieve the perfect squat.     Hm, but on the otherhand maybe that wouldn't be so bad.      

Let's Try this Again

I've been so bad at blogging lately ... just too lazy I guess.    Here's my attempt to start again.    Though I have the caution of privacy on my side this time.   I use to be so free with photos of my children, but in thinking about it more I decided that it's best to be wary.    I'll still post photos but it will be "distorted" in  a way where you are unable to see their faces.   

Wish me luck in being a bit more disciplined with my writing!
