No Place to Put our Hands

I wish there were more "hands-on" type children museums in my area.   Granted I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but most of these places are over 45 minutes away.   Not very convenient if you're looking to kill a few hours, especially if you are spending most of those free hours driving.      As a parent it's one of my least favorite things to do ... riding in a car with two screaming boys ... "I want juice!!!!!!!!" ... "I want my Speed Racer car!!!!!!" ... blah blah blah.    My husband and I think it would be a money maker if we were to open up a place like Tumble and Tea in our neck of the woods but I'm the cautious type.   I'm not too comfortable dishing out a whole bunch of money for a new business with the economy the way it is now.   

I think for now I'll just bitch and whine about the "lack of ..." until someone opens one up near me.

My House So Needs One or Two or Three ...

We lose an average of 3.2 pen caps every day and I know where they are going.    These caps are being secretly stored by our two kitties in their highly top secret hiding spot.   All lost things go there, I know it.   To curb my kitties from building up their cap collection I need to get a Cap Trapper from Savvy May.     What an awesome product.     I can stop buying pens over and over again because they dry out from being left with no caps.

Paint

I'm not sure if my boys would actually paint the sticks or play sword fight with them, but this idea  looks like so much fun!     Who knew sticks could be so delightful when covered in pretty colored paints?

A - Z's

I love this site.    It's a very creative way of teaching your child the letters of the alphabet.     My favorite is of course "L".   I enjoy what they did with the word 'lion'.    I wish there was some way you could put it on a shirt.
