I'm not sure if this was mentioned previously but my husband and I are gambling junkies. We love gambling, whether it be in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, or Cache Creek ... the both of us are there. One of the greater perks is being a part of a rewards program. You basically sign up with a hotel's rewards program and get a players card. Based on your gambling habits (how much $$ you throw down) one accumulates points. These points are added up and based on your totals, you can get comp points for food, free room, free show tickets, etc ... As your totals get higher, your player status changes and that my friends, gives you more benefits. Our current status allows us to move to the front of the line at restaurants, special check-in areas, preferred status for valet, cashier needs, etc ... We figure we're going to gamble our money ... might as well get something out of it.
Oh yes, remind me to cash in my voucher for $100 ... CASH ... just all part of the rewards program.
